The Ducati 916 is one of the finest sportbikes ever produced. Since it's introduction in 1994, the Ducati 916 has won mutiple World Superbike titles by combining superior handling, and high engine output. The Ducati 916 has a striking design, with it's cat eye headlights, and underseat full race exhaust. In 1997, Ducati introduced the Ducati 748, which is essentially a Ducati 916 frame with a smaller and lighter weight engine. Ducati's introduction of the 748   has lowered the enrty fee into their superbike ownership by around $ 3,000, and Ducati is hoping to compete in the AMA 600 class.
