The Inernational Photography Hall of Fame (IPHF) was established in 1965 by the The Photographic Art & Science Foundation (PASF). The museum resided in ScienceMuseum Oklahoma in Oklahoma City until 2011, when the potential arose to relocate the museum to St. L ouis, MO.

The IPHF's mission is "To educate the public about the diverse spectrum of photography and its impact on our culture, including the history and current practice of its processes and artistry; to collect, preserve and exhibit examples of photography and the instruments used to create it; and to honor significant contributors to the evolution of the art and science of photography ."

Efforts are currently under way to relocate the organization and its exensive photography and camera exhibits to St. Louis's art-centric Grand Center. Here is a sample of the IPHF's case statement.
